Verantwortlich: Nestwache, E-Mail nestwache@bertram.systems.

Kurz: Nestwache verbindet dein Telefon direkt mit deiner eigenen IP-Kamera im lokalen Netz. Es gibt keinen Server, keine Cloud, kein Konto, keine Werbung und keine Analyse. Wir erhalten keine Daten von dir.

Was die App auf dem Gerät verarbeitet

• Kamera-Link, Benutzername und Passwort deiner Kamera: verschlüsselt (AES-256-GCM, Schlüssel im Android Keystore)

im privaten Speicher der App; nicht in Backups, nicht in Logs, in der App nur als "••••" angezeigt.

• Bild und Ton der Kamera: werden live abgespielt und nicht aufgezeichnet oder gespeichert.
• Weinen-Erkennung (ab 1.14, nur wenn du sie einschaltest): Ein Modell auf dem Gerät (YAMNet) prüft knapp eine Sekunde Ton, wenn es im Raum lauter als der Ruhepegel ist. Das geschieht nur im Arbeitsspeicher; nichts wird gespeichert oder gesendet.
• Nachtprotokoll (ab 1.14, abschaltbar): Zeit, Art und Dauer von Ereignissen (Geräusch, Weinen, Verbindung weg, Bild steht), die Lautstärke über dem Ruhepegel und die Sicherheit der Weinen-Erkennung. Es liegt 7 Tage im privaten Speicher der App, ohne Ton und ohne Bilder, nicht in Backups. Löschen: im Nachtprotokoll „Löschen“.
• Netzwerkdaten: zur Kamerasuche die Adressen deines WLANs bzw. Hotspots, zuletzt gefundene Kamera-Adressen und die

Seriennummer der Kamera (zur Wiedererkennung), im privaten Speicher der App.

Netzwerk: Die App verbindet sich nur mit Geräten in deinem lokalen Netz (WLAN oder Hotspot des Telefons): sie sucht dort deine Kamera (ONVIF/SSDP und eine kurze Suche im eigenen Subnetz) und empfängt deren Stream. Es werden keine Daten an uns oder Dritte gesendet.

Käufe: keine. Die App hat keine In-App-Käufe (seit 1.13.24).

Fehler und Rückmeldungen: Abstürze und eingefrorene Zustände meldet Android anonym über Google Play (Android-Vitals), ohne Zusatz-Software in der App, nur wenn du das in Android erlaubt hast. Rückmeldungen nehmen wir über die Bewertungen im Play Store entgegen. Außer über die Infrastruktur von Google Play (Installation, Updates, Android-Vitals) werden keine Daten übertragen.

Sicherheits-Hinweis zur Kamera (ab 1.10): Die Karte „Sicherheit“ bewertet nur, was die App ohnehin sieht: deine eigenen eingegebenen Zugangsdaten (auf dem Gerät, z. B. ob ein Passwort fehlt oder ein bekannter Standard ist), ob die eingetragene bzw. gefundene Adresse privat ist, und die Geräteinfos, die die Kamera bei der Suche nennt (Hersteller, Modell, Firmware). Zusätzlich fragt die App die Kamera höchstens zweimal pro Verbindung ohne Anmeldung nach ihren Geräteinfos (ONVIF), um zu sehen, ob sie diese offen herausgibt. Es gibt keine Anmeldeversuche, keine fremden Netze, keinen Netzwerkscan dafür, und das Ergebnis bleibt auf dem Gerät; es wird weder gespeichert noch gesendet.

Weitergabe: keine. Speicherdauer: bis du die Kamera in der App änderst, die App-Daten löschst oder die App deinstallierst. Kinder: Die App richtet sich an Eltern, nicht an Kinder. Deine Rechte (DSGVO): Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Widerspruch, Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde. Da wir keine Daten von dir haben, liegen alle Daten nur auf deinem Gerät.

Hinweis: Nestwache ist kein Medizinprodukt und kein Ersatz für die Aufsicht eines Kindes.

In short: Nestwache connects your phone directly to your own IP camera in your local network. There is no server, no cloud, no account, no ads and no analytics. We receive no data from you.

What the app processes on the device

• Your camera's link, user name and password: encrypted (AES-256-GCM, key in the Android Keystore) in the app's

private storage; not in backups, not in logs, shown only as "••••".

• The camera's picture and sound: played live, never recorded or stored.
• Crying detection (from 1.14, only if you switch it on): a model on the device (YAMNet) checks just under a second of sound when the room is louder than its quiet level. This happens in memory only; nothing is stored or sent.
• Night log (from 1.14, can be switched off): time, kind and duration of events (noise, crying, connection lost, picture frozen), the loudness above the quiet level and the crying detection's confidence. Kept for 7 days in the app's private storage, without sound or pictures, not in backups. Delete it with "Clear" in the night log.
• Network data: for finding the camera, your Wi-Fi/hotspot addresses, recently found camera addresses and the

camera's serial number (to recognise it), in the app's private storage.

Network: the app only connects to devices in your local network (Wi-Fi or the phone's hotspot): it looks for your camera there (ONVIF/SSDP and a short scan of your own subnet) and receives its stream. No data is sent to us or to third parties.

Purchases: none. The app has no in-app purchases (since 1.13.24).

Errors and feedback: crashes and freezes are reported anonymously by Android through Google Play (Android vitals), without any extra software in the app, only if you allowed this in Android. Feedback reaches us through Play Store reviews. Apart from Google Play's infrastructure (installation, updates, Android vitals) no data is transferred.

Camera security note (from 1.10): the "Sicherheit" card only judges what the app sees anyway: the credentials you entered yourself (on the device, e.g. whether a password is missing or a well-known default), whether the entered or found address is private, and the device info the camera reports during discovery (maker, model, firmware). In addition the app asks the camera at most twice per connection, without credentials, for its device info (ONVIF), to see whether it hands it out openly. No login attempts, no other networks, no network scan for this; the result stays on the device and is neither stored nor sent.

Sharing: none. Retention: until you change the camera in the app, clear the app's data or uninstall it. Children: the app is for parents, not directed at children. Your rights (GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, complaint to a supervisory authority. We hold no data about you; all data stays on your device.

Note: Nestwache is not a medical device and no substitute for supervising a child.
